"Sometimes it is adamant by the 'world' you piece of work in," the staff member said. "If you work in the 'colour world,' you typically get more color or makeup."

"The point isn't just to get free products; it is so you, the expert, can requite honest feedback to a client when they ask your opinion on a product," she said. "It is also beneficial because it allows us bandage members the opportunity to try out products outset earlier we decide to spend our money on it."

The employee disbelieve varies depending on whether they work at a Sephora inside JCPenney store or a stand-alone location.
